Okay, so I cleaned my laundry room today. No, I REALLY cleaned it. Our laundry room is between the kitchen and the garage. It turns into a dumping ground when I'm in a hurry to clean the kitchen and "hide" things I'm not ready to put away yet. In addition to the regular laundry room, it turns into a storage/work room of sorts as our office is in the basement and I like to keep certain things handy. Well....today I did it. I cleaned it out, put everything away, I even scrubbed down the washer, dryer, and other areas that had collected laundry room grime. I bought a big container of fabric softener from Costco and it's poor design made a mess with splatters everywhere. I even broke out the Dyson and vaccumed BEHIND the appliances. In the almost 8 years I've been married and owned a washer/dryer - I can honestly say that I don't think I have ever scrubbed anything in my laundry room. We've moved 3 times in those 8 years, so it gets cleaned somewhat by default. But today was a first. I wish I would have thought to take a before picture!! (It's better that you don't see it anyhow!)

Oh, you are so nesting! I don't know what we will do when we are done having kids and not have those crazy urges to DEEP clean!
Good for you! I love nesting.
Heather, there's no hope. I'm afraid you've crossed over to nesting land. No turning back. Don't worry, it will end when the baby comes and you're too tired to do anything. Ha! Just kidding. You know how it goes.
It's wonderful that you can put that nesting energy to good use! The laundry room looks great. I never nested while preggers. oh-well.
I cleaned my laundry room too when I was pregnant for the first time in forever!
You ared hired - hey that could be a new business idea for a cleaning service run by pregnant moms - The Neat Nesters (:
Yep, definitely nesting. I even nest before our babies are born...it is just an instinct that isn't even triggered by biology the way I see it. Just triggered by the fact that you definitely won't be cleaning out your laundry room once the baby comes...
