My kids aren't picky eaters. However, sometimes they're not always interested in what I cook. (Even though they typically like what I make). With Aaron working nights - it's tempting to just make them chicken nuggets and mac n cheese. Since I also need to eat and I cook enough for Aaron to eat for dinner at work the next day, that's not the best option, nor is it the healthiest. So I'm burned out on my recipes and I'd like to find some more healthy kid friendly favorites. What family dinners do your kids love? I'm ready to try some new things!!

Sorry can't help you in the cooking department.....Especially this time of year as it is tax season. Chris eats at the office so I don't cook much during this time of year (who am I kidding, I don't cook much anytime of year :) We do a lot of breakfast foods for dinner (eggs, frenchtoast, pancakes, waffles). My kids love that.
good luck! Lucas likes spaghetti. My kids are always happy with beans and a spoon weird huh. I am always surprised when I give them food and they eat it. I just make what I want and hope they eat some of it. I really need to get better at cooking nightly. I usually just through random stuff together.
Ok... so my kids LOVE baked mostaccioli. It is a cinch to make, great for last minute, is great as leftovers, AND it freezes beautifully too! So... here's the recipe (don't laugh, I love to cook gourmet, but this is a kid-friendly, stress-free, recipe)... Anyway... take one jar of your favorite marinara sauce (standard size) and one jar of your favorite alfredo sauce (we like Classico... and the alfredo jar is slightly smaller than the marinara). Mix sauces together in a large bowl and add 1 lb. of cooked (al dente) mostaccioli pasta. Then, I add cooked chicken (great for leftover grilled chicken OR I like to use the Foster Farms already grilled, frozen chicken "strips" that you get from Costco... just throw as much as you like in there frozen). Pour mixture into large casserole dish (or two smaller if your family doesn't eat that much in a couple days). Top with shredded mozzarella and parmesan cheeses and bake at 350 for about 45 min. until nice and bubbly. Again, this is REALLY easy and can be made ahead and baked later... even frozen, thawed, and baked later as well. Sorry this is so long :-)
Nothing original here. Both boys like spaghetti but I usually pop in frozen mac and cheese or some chicken nuggets for the kids! I always said I would never do this but now I am! Good luck.
O.K. Bella loves this...it is similar to Katie's recipe:
Cheesy Bow Ties
1 package mostaccioli pasta, uncooked (I've also used penne and macaroni pasta)
1 pound ground beef
1 jar spaghetti sauce
1 can condensed cheddar cheese soup
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon dried italian seasoning
3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
Cook pasta. Drain. In medium nonstick skillet, cook and stir beef until browned. Pour off drippings. Stir in spaghetti sauce, soup, pepper and seasoning. Combine pasta, sauce mixture and the cheese. Sprinkle additional cheese on top.
